       This was my second attempt with my Toucam 840 of Jupiter & three of it's moons.  As you can see I am starting to get the hang of it.  Taken at the Girl Scout Camp Conroe 04/01/2004 with a Celestron NexStar 5, stacked in Registax and finished in Photoshop.  (Now to work on some color......
Jupiter2_90sec_maxlum_web.jpg (4982 bytes)        Well this was my first attempt with my Toucam 840 of Jupiter.  I was using my NexStar 5i and 2.5 Powermate.  The 90 second image was processed with Registax and tweaked in Maxln DL and Photoshop.  Taken Rafter M Ranch 04/09/2004
Jupiter5_62sec_mazlum_web.jpg (4242 bytes)        This was a 62 second exposure with my Toucam 840 with my NexStar 5i with the 2.5 Powermate.  Again it was processed and stacked in Registax and tweaked in Maxln DL and Photoshop.  I am starting to get the color down.  Taken Rafter M Ranch 04/09/2004
Jupiter4_100sec1_web.jjpg.jpg (3397 bytes)         This was a 100 second exposure with my Toucam 840 and has you can see the seeing had diminished. Again all the processing was the same as above.  Taken Rafter M Ranch 04/10/2004.

NEWEST:  This was a 60 second exposure of Venus and the camera controls set for more brightness.  As you can see you get a strange glow from Venus.  Same equipment, processing, location, and taken on 04/15/2004.

  This was my first attempt of a 90 second exposure of Venus with my ToUcam 840 and my LX-200 8" telescope.  The image was stacked in Registax and again tweaked in Maxlm DL with some processing in Photoshop. Taken Rafter M Ranch 04/15/2004. (tax day)

  This is my newest Jupiter Image that I took with my ToUcam 840 and my LX-200 8" telescope.  I had a 2.5 Powermate in front of the ToUcam.  This is an 180 second video stacked in Registax and tweaked in Maxlm DL and Photoshop.  It was very windy tonight at the Rafter M Ranch 04/15/2004.

 This is my latest attempt of imaging Jupiter and Io.  I was using my ToUcam 840, 2.5 Powermate, and my LX-200 8" telescope.  This is an 80 second video stacked in Registax and tweaked in MaxIm DL and Photoshop.  This was at the Rafter M Ranch on 04/16/2004

  This is my best detail of Jupiter and it Great Red Spot.  I was using the same equipment listed above and the processing was the same.    E

  This was a 300 second video of Jupiter with the Great Red Spot starting to show in the left and side of the image.  Same equipment and processing at the Rafter M Ranch 04/16/2004.   

Large-Jupiter-web.jpg (6760 bytes) This is close up of Jupiter so you can see the details that the little Phillips ToUcam 840 can image in a 120 second video.  I used the same equipment, and processing, but increased the image size for better details....
Jupiter_050105_40sec_cropped.jpg (4415 bytes) Newest:  This was taken with my TOA 130 on my NJP mount.  It was taken with my ToUcam 840 with my Powermate 5x.  It is a 40 second video, processed in Registax at the Texas Star Party on 05/03/2005.   Notice the shadow of Io???
