Images from my Canon Rebel Digital Camera

North-American-Nebula-400-A.jpg (413600 bytes) Also on August 13, 2007 I pointed my TOA-130 with the Canon Reble mounted on top toward NGC-7000 "North American Nebula.  This imaged is 6 each four minutes images, combined in MaxIm DL and final processed in Photoshop.  If you look on this image toward the center and then check my image of NGAC-7000 in the Latest CCD images you will see a close up of it.
NGC-6979-240s-400-web_filtered.jpg (265928 bytes) On August 13, 2007 I was in Fort Davis, Texas and mounted my Canon Rebel on top of my TOA-130 and took the image of NGC-6979 located in Cygnus.  The image consist of 6 each four minutes images, combined in MaxIm DL and final processed in Photoshop.  
M-57_combined_webready.jpg (8187 bytes) M-57 (The Ring Nebula)  Taken at the HAS Columbus site September 18, 2004.  This is 3 images combined, stacked in Images Plus, and minor processing in Photo Shop.  
M-22-combined_webready.jpg (26720 bytes) M-22  This is a very large globular cluster in the Sagittarius.  This is one of my favorite globular clusters.  This image was taken August 14, 2004 at the NHAC Dolan, TX site.  This is 5 ea., 45 seconds images combined, and stacked in Images Plus, with minor processing in Photo Shop.  This is a great cluster to see in your binoculars. 
M-45_combined_web.jpg (42266 bytes) M-45 (The Pleiades)  This is a very nice large open group of bright stars some time call the "Seven Sisters" .  This image was taken at the HAS Columbus site September 18, 2004.  This is 7 ea. 45 seconds images combined, and stacked in Images Plus, with minor processing in Photo Shop.  This is also a great cluster to see in your binoculars.

Venus-&-Moon-Web.jpg (10128 bytes) On the morning of 12/07/2004, I took this photo with my Canon Rebel of Jupiter about 1.5 degrees to the upper left from a very beautiful crescent moon.  
Cresent-Moon-060705_0855PM.jpg (2962 bytes)    I went outside last night 06/07/2005 at 8:00 PM at the Rafter M Ranch in Hockley, TX and started looking for the Thin Crescent Moon.  At 8:38:35 I located it about 20 degrees above the horizon.  I took this photo with my Canon Rebel 300D and 300 mm telephoto lens.  I had my camera mounted on a tripod with my Unimount Light Basic at 8:52PM.  The image was processed in Photoshop.

First-Thin-Cresent-Moon-060.jpg (4471 bytes)     I continue to follow the process of the moon setting and took this image later that afternoon.  Same process.  Time 8:58PM
Thin-Cresent-Moon-060705-09.jpg (8866 bytes)      This is a image of the Thin Crescent Moon taken a 9:00 PM on 06/07/2005.  I was still using the 300 mm telephoto lens, but I had decreased the magnification to get some scenery in it.   
Thin-Cresent-Moon-&-Venus-w.jpg (6015 bytes)      This image was taken just before the moon set.  It shows Venus to the upper left of the Crescent Moon with the trees in the background.  Time 9:10PM
Venus-060705.jpg (2946 bytes)      This is a photo of Venus with my Canon Rebel and 300 mm telephoto lens.  I used to the focus my camera to take the above photos of the Crescent Moon.  
Moon-dark-web.jpb.jpg (28883 bytes) I took this photo on August 12, 2005 at the H. A. S. site in Columbus, Texas.  I had placed my Canon Rebel on the back of my TOA 130 to capture this image.  The image was processed in Photoshop.  The image is one .125 second image
Moon--clouds.jpg (9220 bytes) This was taken also at the HAS site on 08/13/2005 at 1:15 am as the clouds rolled in.  I used my elbows to hold my Canon camera on the side of my truck bed and took this image.  Processed in Photoshop.

Jupiter-&-Venus-web.jpg (15906 bytes) On Wednesday night August 31, 2005, I went outside and placed my Canon Rebel on a tripod and took this photo of Spica, Jupiter, and Venus.  
Double-Cluster-90-sec-web.jpg (17554 bytes) This was taken at the Guadalupe RV Resort in Kerrville, Texas on 09/06/2005.  There were a lot of outdoor lighting at the RV park.  This is one half of the Double Cluster taken with the Sky 90 and Canon Rebel.  It consist of 6 ea 90 second images stacked in MaxIn DL and some processing in Photoshop.  
M31-90-sec-combined-web.jpg (13769 bytes) This is M-31 the Andromeda Galaxy also taken at the Guadalupe RV Resort with my Sky 90 and Canon Rebel.  It consist of 6 each 90 second unguided images stacked in MaxIn DL and processed in Photoshop.
