2003 Deer Season

2003 Deer Season *Ozona, Texas* *Flugger Ranch*
	This is the front door to our camp house. (It was an old feed barn that we converted into living quarters. Notice the air condition for the summer time, and that the heater is on during this photo. It was about 36 degrees outside when this one was taken.
	Time to catch up on your sleep. Cole is taking it easing after the morning hunt.
	As you can see the sleeping arrangements are simple. BUT is have to say that I do sleep better here on these beds that we have approximately $75.00 invested in, compare to the high dollar bed had home.
	This is where we cook all our meal that we fix inside. As you can see, we don't go hungry.
	Cole is proud of his fine 8 point buck that he took while hunting on the ground in his Gilley Suit. He allowed the deer to get within 30 yards before harvesting it with his Marlin 30-30.

	I too had a good hunt this morning. I took this nice mature white tail buck at 7:00am on 11/29/2003. The deer was about 235 yard from my stand. He original had 13 points but brook off 2 and a 18 3/4 inch inside spread.
	Another one. Thank God for the Mule to get him off the mountain top.
	You can see where he has broken his left G-2 off, and his right G-4.
	This buck was approximately 5 1/2 years old.

	So this is how I find my pecking order. Does anyone have an aspirin?
	Well the young buck got whipped and the larger one is letting him know "I'm boss".
